The time is now, people. In the state of Washington voters must register by mail 30 days before an election. So the postal option has now passed. However, you have another 14 days (including today) to register in person. Go do it. Please.

In the past year I have been dropped from the voter registry three times. I registered again last month but I have this fear I am going to get to the polls and they are going to turn me away. My paranoia may start ratcheting up.:)
rory, wow, three times. I admire your persistence. But how do you know you’ve been dropped–do they send you a letter or something?
I went to vote last November, however I was not on the rolls. I registered again, showed up for the primary this past winter, dropped again. I registered again. >>A few weeks ago my partner got a postcard in the mail telling her where to vote in November. I never received one, so this time I called. The woman I spoke with said I moved to Brooklyn, which was news to me!>>Hopefully this has been resolved once and for all. I did receive my postcard reminder, so I am taking that as a good sign.
