A follow up on the world’s worst song post. The same people, Komar & Melamid, put together the most and least wanted paintings for a variety of nations. All based on polls. Yep. I think next time I’m Europe I’ll pop over to Amsterdam. Haven’t been for years. I wonder if the Melkweg is still open.>>I think the Dutch just so sick of looking at Vermeers and Rembrandts etc. that they need the formlessness of abstraction. Plus the Dutch, y’know, don’t have mountains…

I might just be being very Dutch right now (’cause, well, I am), but I really do like the last one best.>>And yes, the Melkweg is still open.
I have had nothing but coffee and a cinnamon role for breakfast so I cannot blame my comments on a too altered brain…I like the Dutch choice, BUT I see a red bell pepper,an eggplant, and a squash! I need away from my office desk…for a long time…maybe a very long time :)
<>barbara<>, I think it’s computer generated.>><>foxomally<>, it’s been (mumble) years since I was in the Melkweg. What’s it like these days?>><>linda<>, for me there’s a kind of oddly-coloured aurora borealis look to it…
