Happiness is swords and ponies and trees and mist and honour (and, y’know, half naked babes wearing stripey makeup). Happy happy happy.

Who cares if the historical details are all wrong? (There’s a reason Romans cleared the ground on either side of the road.) Swords! Ponies! Shouting!
Ugh, computer ate comment.
Roman Black Hawk Down with a black Roman soldier? Awesome, that is the sort of “history” I can get behind.
In a similar vein, may I recommend “Latro in the Mists” by Gene Wolfe (I know, I know, all I ever do is talk about Gene Wolfe…)
I honestly thought that was Keira Knightley in King Arthur until it loaded properly.
mordicai, yeah! But I've never been able to really enjoy Gene Wolfe. His work feels…hmmn, 'sticky', too complicated. But I think I picked up “Latro”–5 yrs ago? Something like that. Perhaps I'll try it again.
hampshireflyer–oh, dear, wasn't that film a disappointment? So careful, rather bloodless even though it was about bloody times. Centurion looks much more vital.
I cannot WAIT for this movie.
Swords, ponies, shouting, yes (yes!) but WHO are the gorgeous women, and will there be more about them in the film??
Awesome. I tried to look up the release date but found about four of them all at odds with each other. Do you know when it's supposed to come out?
And yeah, I know it's about Romans, but I'll be cheering for the barbarians — it's in my blood, I can't help it :P.
Imogen, Olga Kurylenko, Axelle Carolyn.
Zack, it doesn't yet have a release date. Sigh.
David, it looks as though we're going to have to. It doesn't have a release date yet. Tuh.
Such a timeless motto, Fight or Die :)
Very rousing trailer! Looking forward to see it at the movies too!
