In the spirit of the Russ Pledge I’d like to point out that this is the first Pixar film with a girl lead and it was co-directed by Brenda Chapman (with Mark Andrews). So, go Pixar, go Disney. Don’t fuck it up…

Hey – those menhirs are on Lewis, within sight of the ocean – and not a tree in sight!
That's actually quite spooky – the first stone you see, and the one to the right, are pretty much exact copies of the real ones.
COI: spent some time living in the Outer Hebrides.
Fi, I've had another comment, elsewhere, opining that the stones are from another of the islands (Shiant). They certainly look familiar. My guess is: rocks resulting from the same kind of geological process and shaped with the same kind of tools to the same purpose are going to look, y'know, the same :)
