My friend Mark Tiedemann recently interviewed Ursula K. Le Guin for ReadMOre, Missouri’s annual statewide reading celebration. The technical quality isn’t brilliant but the interview is long and juicy. Enjoy.
ETA: Mark has just joined Twitter. Go follow him @MWTiedemann.
Delightful. I write a letter to her every year, right at the beginning of autumn, so this'll be a wonderful thing to watch first.
She is so articulate and wise. I have never read her work but will now
Monica, glad you liked it.
Georgi, haven't read Le Guin?? My three favourites: The Wizard of Earthsea books (3), The Dispossessed, and The Left Hand of Darkness. Envious that you're reading her for the first time. Oh, also her short stories, e.g. The Compass Rose. And her non-fiction is a must.
