Yesterday was an astonishingly sunny day here in Seattle. I was serenaded by a fat bird at breakfast:
And in the afternoon, Chow Ciao–whose real name, it turns out, is Eros (yep, she’s a boy), and is now being time-shared by two sets of doting neighbours, though of course we still offer treats every now and again (today it was chicken)–snored on the fence outside my office:
All is well with the world. Except, perhaps, for the bird…
Glad you had some nice thawing weather. We finally had a mild sunny day here (so I climbed the mountain and took some pics). Blooming (some slightly out of season): Camellia, winter honeysuckle, tea olive, snow drops, vinca, Oregon grape holly, flowering quince and (just starting) forsythia. Haven't had any crocus or narcissus yet, but the hyacinths are poking their noses out…
Dianne, wow, you are waaaay ahead of us in blossom terms. It's still in the low 40s here. Some buds on some shrubs, that's about it.
