I heartily agree about the time change. Not only does it not save any daylight or cut any energy bills (in fact, it probably makes my summer bills worse, because it keeps things so hot into the evening that I can't turn the AC off before going to bed), but I'm sure dealing with all the schedule changes costs a lot of money.
But yes, it is spring, and because we've finally had some rain, we're getting wildflowers and buds on the trees that actually lose their leaves in what passes for winter down here in Central Texas.
Today I'm remembering that spring means free pollen…
