It captures the enameled portrait(?) somewhere in the early chapters. [my daughter's got the hardback and my wife's got the Kindle] As to the blurb, perhaps Battle of Maldon rather than Beowulf. To me, Hild seems to be focussed on surviving doom rather than winning the war.
